Deer Bumps a Customer in the Parking Lot, Dives Through a Laundromat Window and Climbs the Washers. The Owner's Response: a Contest to Name It.

Laundry day at the Wishy Washy Laundry in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, got a surprise customer this week, and it did not bring quarters.
Security video shows a deer sprinting across the parking lot on Tuesday and running into a woman who was leaving with her laundry, then jumping straight through one of the laundromat's windows.
Inside, customers scattered while the deer ran through the business and climbed up on top of the washing machines and dryers. Then it left the same way it came in: through the broken window.
"It was just mayhem in here for about two minutes," owner Corey Pendergrass said. He told reporters he did not believe it at first when an employee called to say there was a deer in the laundromat.
Pendergrass said nobody was hurt. The main damage was the window, which was repaired the same day, and the laundromat was back open within 24 hours.
And instead of staying mad, the laundromat leaned in: it started a Facebook contest to name the deer. No word yet on whether it gets a loyalty card.
